A “Fresh 48” session is a newborn photography session done within the first 24–48 hours after your baby is born, usually in the hospital, birthing centre, or at home shortly after delivery. The purpose is to capture those first raw and fleeting moments — tiny details, first cuddles, meeting siblings or family members, emotional reactions, feeding moments, and the overwhelming joy of welcoming your baby. Unlike posed newborn shoots, Fresh 48 sessions are natural and documentary-style, focusing on genuine connection and the fresh newness of your baby’s very first days.
